Devlog #2 - Still Going!
Damn, can't believe it's been a whole month since the last Devlog.
I wish I could say I've been hard at work, busting my ass adding the story and new content. But in reality, development has been a bit slow! Don't worry, the fact that I'm even making this post means that this project is still on track and being worked on.
The newest feature being worked on at the moment: Spells! I thought something felt missing from combat, and I feel like having a Magic system of some kind would be nice. This way the combat can be at least as interesting as Dragon Quest for NES lol. I don't have any major ideas at the moment for any exciting spells, but there will be the usual suspects (healing magic, status effects, etc etc.) but once that is in place, I can feel comfortable finally tweaking the numbers a bit more.
Small changes include the use of bold text in certain parts of the UI. I felt it would help make things easier to visually parse.
Uhh.. oh! I'm also gonna have some help with the story here soon. No details at the moment on what that looks like but rest assured, this game WILL have a story!
